I tend to be pretty goal oriented and that translates into a desire to get my albums caught up. (Since the boys were in grade school before I started scrapping seriously, I started in a deep hole and haven't even stayed even since.) In addition, I've made a commitment to my son that his high school albums would be done in time for graduation next May. In March I started the first one. all of that can be a good thing and keep me motivated, but it also can make time in my scrap room feel like a chore.
So today I made a layout just for me. I grew up near the Lake Erie beach, and its my happy place. My husband says you can see the stress go away if I get a chance to see the Lake or go to the beach. Last month we spent a weekend visiting my Mom, and I had that chance. This layout is about the beach and what it means to me. No people in the picture - just Lake Erie.
Remember to get out your paper and "stuff" for fun!
