I've talked about the "3 To Inspire" challenges at Citrus Twist kits before. They post them on their blog every Saturday and they are some of my favorite challenges. I check it out first thing on Saturday mornings and am almost always inspired by the combination of elements. I usually use the prompts at some point even if it isn't in time for the challenge deadline.
Last Saturday's was a really good one. You had to use:
So here is the layout I came up with - I've been really inspired by photos from the days when my kids were little and cute lately and loved this easter picture I came up with.
I used twine in two colors for my kit packaging, 2 tags from the Maggie Homes Bloom collection, and a couple of banners I cut myself. And I love this picture of my daughter and a friend. We lost touch with this family when she switched to Catholic schools and the photo brought back lots of memories - which was a good reminder about the value of this craft.
I'm going to dig for some more old pictures to scrap - hope you're having a great weekend.
Thanks for stopping by.

What a beautiful page and darling picture!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's the best thing I find about this craft, too. I've only been doing it a couple years, even though I've always taken pictures. I do wish I'd known about this years ago. I don't scrap chronologically, I do by what inspires me while looking through some photos. This photo is darling. I like the tags and twine, such great additions. Michelle t
